FFX|X-2 NA & EU Release Dates Confirmed

While Square Enix had originally noted the HD compilation would see a worldwide "winter" release, it seems the mark was missed by just a couple of weeks. Earlier this evening, Playstation.Blog confirmed the official North American release of the PS3 compilation for 18 March 2014. Square Enix Europe just confirmed in a tweet that the European launch will be three days later, 21 March 2014.

It may be assumed the Vita launch would be similar, but there is no official statement on the matter at this time.

Square enix announced this september 14th, 2011. I think they should stop announcing shit thats gonna take more than 2 years to release, especially if its only a remaster.

Unless it's a new game altogether. Like... the confirmation of FFVersusXIII turning into FFXV... they could have kept it to themselves until this year's E3, and then announced it outright as FFXV. It launches in 2015 (hopefully...), so that's reasonable for an announcement.

HD rereleases shouldn't have that much lead time on them, so I agree with you there, Rowan.

Winter is mid-Decemberish to mid-Marchish. And I GUESS TECHNICALLY this year, it's December 21 to March 19, so it'll still come out in "winter" in the NA regions. I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING except in Europe where it's still Spring

FFXV is for the PS4 and X1. He was just saying that FFX HD is for the PS3 and Vita. Final Fantasy's everywhere!
